Founded in 2025 by Janice and Pedro Cheung, our school operates from our family home in Danville, CA, serving our three older children. We view education as discipleship, integrating God’s Word into every subject to cultivate wisdom, character, and a love for truth (Proverbs 1:7; Colossians 2:3). Our approach draws from classical and Charlotte Mason methods, emphasizing living books, narration, and hands-on learning, while remaining flexible to each child’s God-given gifts (Romans 12:6-8).
Core curriculum covers required branches of study in English (reading, writing, grammar), mathematics, science (creation-based, affirming Genesis 1-2), social studies (history through a providential lens, per Psalm 78:1-8), fine arts, health, and physical education, all taught in English for at least 180 days annually. We exceed basics with daily Bible study, memorization of Scripture (Psalm 119:11), and worldview training using resources aligned with historic creeds like the Westminster Confession, ensuring orthodoxy in doctrine. Extracurriculars include family devotions, nature studies, church involvement, and community service, fostering humility and service (Philippians 2:3-4; Matthew 25:40).
As a small private school, we maintain meticulous records of attendance, courses, faculty qualifications, and health screenings, in submission to governing authorities (Titus 3:1). Our goal is to equip students for godly living and vocations, preparing them to be salt and light in the world. We welcome collaboration with like-minded families but prioritize our home as the primary learning environment, free from unbiblical influences.
